Sustainability Strategy of Biotest AG

In times of climate change, sustainable management has become enormously important for companies and is becoming more and more important at Biotest, as ESG (Environmental-Social-Governance) criteria are playing an increasingly important role in a wide variety of areas, such as stakeholder decisions regarding investments, the granting of a loan or the choice of employer. The preparation of the Sustainability Report (incl. the EU taxonomy from 2021) is therefore of elementary importance.

The sustainability manager develops, formulates and evaluates an ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy for the company together with the board of directors and finally implements it holistically in the corporate strategy and structures.

 

Biotest is Innovation Champion of Sustainability

The renowned F.A.Z. Institute, together with the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF), has named Biotest the "Innovation Champion of Sustainability". The basis was a Germany-wide study in which business experts examined and evaluated a total of 10,000 companies on the topics of innovation, research and development as well as ecological, social and economic sustainability on the Internet. Among the pharmaceutical companies rated as sustainable in the study, Biotest achieved 5th place.

The efficient use of resources is in our DNA. The award not only shows that our path to a sustainable future is well perceived, it is also a recognition of the commitment of our employees at Biotest and at the same time a motivation to continue driving the topic of sustainability forward.
